Good Freaking morning everybody. Hope everyone has an outdatnding Friday. Coffee and tea isbrewing as we speak and ready for pickup in 5. (time elapsed: 5 minutes) drink er up. I would like to toast my chai tea to those who are looking to get off early, are getting off early, have a half day, or didn't even have to come into work today. If you have to work all day today, don't worry I will be here with ya.
this time tommorrow I will be..... still asleep, getting my beauty rest for NYC. I so stoked. can't you tell. let me optimism spread throughout the coffee shop and have one on the house.

morning young lady: I'll be working til 2:00, long enough. Enjoy NY, by far the best city in the country., and this is coming from a Californian. I do hate the Yankees tho'. That city has the best sounds, smells and sights going. Also the worst but truly an experience. I hope to climb on Sunday but got lots of 'home' crap to do until then. Have fun be safe. Charlie

Good morning Erica :) A talk with you the other day inspired me to actually sign in here to say hello :) But I have to agree with what mwbtle said yesterday "this place just ain't home anymore" - neither is that b.com crapola so I've been 'internet forumless' for weeks! Until now... I'm falling off the wagon ;)
Erica - I'm out for climbing labor day, Mikes best friend and his girl are coming down and we'll be going camping along the MD coast from what I can tell. :) we'll climb soon though, girl!

morning, all.
Woah... am I really up this early?
Back at work now. Classes started yesterday and I have my first climbing team meeting this Monday. Things aren't looking too bad so far. We started our class novel yesterday: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Yep, it's on our approved reading list. :D Most of the kids get it, but I think I have a few lost in the dark without a towel.
I'm still settling in to the new classroom; with luck, I'll be done by June. :P :roll:
Had to buy a new coffeemaker for my classroom yesterday as my old one lost a piece somewhere between my apartment and my classroom while moving things in; didn't discover it until yesterday afternoon when I went to make my afternoon coffee and nearly fell over in agony. Today is devirginize (is that a word? It is now.) the new coffeemaker day!
Speaking of... definitely need more. I'm not used to this early morning stuff yet.....

Good Morning EVERYONE!!
ok, I just noticed my morning ritual as far as consistancy goes.
I wake up, shoot on the computer...make my coffee...take my first sip, and hit the coffee thread here...And by second sip, I say good morning.
how simple, yet pleasurable.
I woke toTHUNDER this morning...then rain...short stint of it, but how beautiful, and then the smell!! I opened my doors. It's becoming fall for sure here...slowly.
Looks like most have a nice weekend planned in the works.
YESTERDAYS COFFEE THREAD: OMGODDESS!!
I got home last night, read pages 3-7, and OMG!! I just about DIED!!!
I laughed so hard!! Don't know if it went on...but i was toast, and couldn't stay awake...to finish.
You guys have such fun. I hope you all laughed as much as I did.
yep, this place is fun, eh?
okie, three sips down...load up the espresso, I'm ready for another quad mocha verrrrry soon.

We try. It was an experiment that Chad and I (mostly Chad) came up with. Considering that the coffee house has sucked royal ass in the last month or so, epsecially since Anne relocated to another site, Chad was dying for some humor. As was I. So, I started somethin'! It worked, we laughed all day, it felt normal again.

Arose annoyed that I missed my cardio workout this morning - again - and still aching from cranking hard Tuesday and Wednesday nights. But good to see coffee's on. I'm looking at the same weather system that thundered upon Nikegirl. At least we'll get some rain around here (Vancouver Island). Though it will take a solid week of it non-stop to ease the nervousness about wildfires. We have a freaking state of emergency, Big Brother wants everyone to stay out of the backwoods (of course that means the good alpine routes :evil: ), some logging roads are now gated and locked but the local crags are still open. Oh well, better than Kelowna where if you're not being evacuated you're choking on smoke. Hope everyone's okay there.
