For a number of years I was in a real rut: It is probably a toss up between: Big Moe, Leave It To Beaver, and Clean & Jerk: No idea how many times. But once, I did FS'd Big Moe 10 times in a row for a video. Probably done these several hundred times each. There are maybe 100 other routes I am sure I have done at least 50 to 100 times. Eek! Pretty sad huh? During the last couple years, I have been exploring the Park and doing all kinds of routes (new to me) and having a great time. :D There is a lot of great stuff to do if you have a little ambition.

Ten times in a row! Holy chit batman. sans rope it would be black tide/stichter quits or double dip, well more than a hundred laps each. probably have 50 routes/boulders I have done a hundred times. with rope it would have to be big moe and at least 100 laps. funny thing is my total route count is under five hundred, talk about a lot of repeats.

In reply to: funny thing is my total route count is under five hundred, talk about a lot of repeats. yeah, mine is under 500 also. my partner likes to climb routes over and over(although they are classics). I'm trying to convince him to try new areas.

i used to just repeat all the easy lines on Small Wall at Indian Cove back in the day. That happens when you used to go to JT just for kicks, now I'm a serious climber. I have objectives. And drive. And determination. And, well, maybe I'll go get another Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

I've used Men with Chickenheads to warm up at least 3 times now. I start with new partners on that one a bit. I'm mostly into doing new moderate routes so after getting a lead on Minotaur (which is typically tied up), I'll be happy to move onto a different area... I don't mind if the first ascent is old but I'd rather climb something I haven't been on 'cause I like checking off the # of climbs done. I agree that Sail Away is great (but popular).

I hate you guys who can cruise the Big Mo with ease... . I've done it.. but every time was a struggle .. barely latch the Mo... barely had the ability to hang tough thru the 2nd higher crux.... so my answer, not unexpectedly.. is ...Mike's Books. Tended to tennis shoe solo the thing basically ever day as my morning wake up call... so figure between mid 70's and mid 80's that totals ..hell. 100++? 200? Now I really feel embarrassed.
