Whats your philosophy towards relationships? - puppy dog, or treat em mean? What kind of philosophy do you prefer your partners to take towards you. What sort of philosophy do you find works in a relationship? I find the treat em mean works best!

In reply to: I find the treat em mean works best! I like to treat a woman with love and respect before I use and degrade her. But you, Al, are my b!tch. The Dogcatcher Unabonger

Yeah, there must be something to this philosophy, a guy told me that women are just like rugs, if you beat'em every once in a while they last longer. Wonder if his sick @ss is out of prison yet?

Treat em mean doesn't mean beat em. Thats OTT. Treat em mean meens don't be a puppy dog, stand up for yourself, and keep a distance between you and them, spending as little time as possible with them.

You know, Allan, sometimes I think you're funny. Sometimes I think you're serious, but in an off the wall way that gets you a bit of ribbing. Times like this I worry about you. Really. Something is not as it should be.

I don't doubt you've lost it. The question is what. FWIW, losing your virginity is not a test of adulthood. I'm more concerned about the way you seem to think about other people than what you have or haven't done with them in the past.

Since I've been lured into this disturbing thread anyway... I guess I'm a puppy dog. If there are people out there who need to be mistreated to either make them happy or "make" them stay, keep 'em away from me. The thought is repulsive.

I'm going with "C" none of the above. Allan, if you're going to spend as little time with someone as possible and keep yourself emotionally distant, you might just want to stay single. Those things certainly aren't indicative of a healthy relationship. Get a f buddy if you have to, man, but please don't treat women like crap because you can. The ones who'll let you get away with it aren't worth your time, and the ones who are worth your time will likely kick your az. And don't kid yourself. We can take you down.

I try to treat all ppl as I would like to be treated. I don't let myself be walked on but I don't kick dirt on you either. I also treat ppl. as friend until they prove otherwise. If your speaking of the opposite sex then treat em mean if you like, but I wouldn't care for the ones who put up with it. Treat a lady like a lady!
