Just spoke with the Visitor Center at Mission Gorge. As of today, the park will be closed until 11/17/03 due to the fires here in SD County. Things could change as time passes but that is the word as of now.

hey maurice, it's been a while. that sucks about MG, do you know of any other closures or devistation to local areas?

Dave - I've been out of touch awhlie but looking to get back on the rock soon.
As for SD areas, I would guess Santee might have been affected but don't know exactly where the bouldering area is located. Safe bet that anything in the east is off limits for the short term until assessment of the areas can be completed.
Anyone with more solid info? PBJosh? ??
