amazing videos man! and a great design as well! you've started strong with those quality videos, as slashface, you'll have to work hard if you want to add good stuff each week. I discovered your page yesterday, a friend (Pato) from a forum told me about it. cheer up, man!!

Hey Now.. Stoked to see you liked it, I just finished to final edit for Friday's updates, Not all the problems will be as high profile but when I can afford the bandwidth (already at 9 gig out of 50 gig this month in only 5 days) I will slip them in, I got a few more up my sleeve.. Once I get some more Funding I will be able to improve the quality overall.. Till then I will keep trying.. Thanks JBone

Hi JBone love the videos. Just a request, is it possible to give the grade and area for each problem shown? Cheers Martin

Only on the ones that I'm allowed to.. Sometimes The problem is only able to get video'd if you keep the local's secrets.. When it's obvious I will sometimes state a location but otherwise you gotta go climb with a local to get there.. The grades are for you to figure out when you try it... Ya know.. I stopped putting grades up over a year ago and it's the best thing I ever did.. Grades just start debates and should be kept at the problems not in the chat rooms.. My Opinion.. If your ever in town look me up I will take you to the problems.. Thanks for watching.. JBone

Thanks for the offer - if I ever get back to the States again.... Understood also about the local's concerns and grades. It's the same the world over. Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to checking out the next installment on Friday. Ciao Martin

I think its cool hows theres the hard probs like Slashface, Theatre of The Absurd, but then most of the others are moderates, and show people really working them. Bleek! whats the camera setup you got going, and who does the whole pole thing work?

I have tried all day to access the site for my weekly boulder video fix and the url isn't working. Is it just down temporarily or do I start to panic?

In reply to: So since noon today (11-04-03) the site has been shut off because of this stupid fucking crap. "Jay: Related to your site being down today, please contact our Customer Service Manager, Mike Reno either by email (mreno@globat.com) or by giving him a call tomorrow at (877) 2-GLOBAT. He needs to confirm some information from you about your site as it was noticed to be using high volume of resources from our server. As such, your site was temporarily turned off for evaluation." I used 40 of my 50 allowable GB and they have a panic attack.. WTF!! They should at least contact me before they take it off. This is bullshit! Sorry for the Fuk-up, obviously don't use Globat they suk. I got the E-Mail sent and now I gotta call this bastard ass and discuss this fukin "information" bullshit.. What a bunch of god damn cunts.. Sorry again The Bone (Who's very pissed right now) and then after "J" discussed this with Globat...
In reply to: I have discussed some options and am working at the moment to restore the site. It looks like Globat won't host the vids anymore unless I upgrade to a dedicated server. That costs me $200 to set up and $99 per month.. With this account I can use up to 650 GB per month and have over 10 GB of storage space. Obviously, I cannot afford this so I am having Globat return the page to service but have promised to host the Video's on different servers. I have 1 server I can get away with 1 video per week, but I gotta keep it 10 mg.. Chino has offered some space he has for another.. I would like to find one other host who would like to contribute some leftover space so that I can spread them out. Or.. I can set up an archive and charge a monthly fee to subscribe to the site. This is exactly what CXM would not do but if the demand was there I would do it.. At $1 per month if there were a hundred viewers out there who would be intrested it could become feasable.. Soon the Front page will be up and I am working on Mirrors to get the Vids back up. In the meantime think about this situation and feel free to reflect on these alternatives or other one's that might help solve this dillema. Thanks for your time and your opinions, hopefully all will be returned to normal soon.. Sincerely The Bone i'll pay...anyone else???

Thanks for mentioning this dillema here JuicyFruit.. I am working on getting the site back temporarily through Mirror sites. Hopefully something will be showing by the end of today. I am trying to get the Subscription Idea runnng, I will post alot more details when I get the Frontpage back up for Boulderline. THis site will not Die. It may lose it's home for a bit but a new one is being built as we speak.. I am confident that with the support of the very generous climbing community that resides here on the net, that Boulderline will strive and survive. Thanks for all your input.. E-Mail me if you might be able to help.. Thank you JBone Last month RC.Com was 375 unique links only bookmarks and favorites bring in more.. You guys truly Rock!!

Hi JBone, not good news, but I am sure things will work out. I too would be willing to pay a subscription fee to keep the video's online. Although I probably wont get back to the States any time soon and climb at these area's, I really enjoy watching the quality video's you are putting together. A possible suggestion moving forward is to still have the site set up to have say one new video a week to non subscribers and a few more in the subscribers area. This would still allow viewing of your video's to the public at large and also be a carrot for those who would like to see more and become subscribers. Ciao Martin
