Hey there discgolpher. I'm in Dallas now, but was in OKC for 4 years prior to this. I can hook you up with a group of climbers in the age range of 22ish if you like. PM me if you're interested.

Howdy, This is Alan from OKC. I'm pretty new to RC.com also. I usually hang out at SummitPost.com. This is a pretty good site. There appears to be some active Texas people, but only a few Oklahoma folks. The Oklahoma message board is pretty stale. We don't go to the gym (OKC Rocks) very often anymore because we are spending our time climbing in the Wichitas and the Rockies. Anyway....see you around.

Whazzup? I guess you heard about the bridge. It has been rendered useless due to the city removing all the holds. As far as OKC rocks gym, I guess it's okay, but I really never climb there. I much prefer to head to Quartz or the Wichitas. Former troll, Dave

Haven't been on rc.com in a while but I just thought I'd stop in and leave my name as a local okie climber from norman. I set 2 new routes recently at okc rocks - performance anxiety (blue) and paris hilton (black) - let me know what you think of them. I will be back soon to set some more. stay tuned for the 6th norman bouldering competition coming in march '04 - I'll probably post something here about it when it gets closer to time. later, A http://fusionfortyseven.com

I am from Stillwater but go to okc every once in a while to climb. Sundays are the best. We would rather go to the wichitas though, or chandler...

In reply to: Whazzup? I guess you heard about the bridge. It has been rendered useless due to the city removing all the holds. What?!? When did that happen? Why? Who should we vote out of office for this one? I've been gone for school (harding university, searcy, ar), so i missed out on this news!

i think it happened sometime last week....sux a$$ if you ask me what i dont understand is....the bridges are maintained by the state ...correct???? only conclusion i can come to is that the city took it upon themselves to "maintain" state property... or... the state did it, but... if it was the state... dont you think that they would have made it a week long project? X-mas night me and a friend got his truck stuck down there......lol...it wasnt so funny when it happened tho

In reply to: hey arrong......i dislocated my L shoulder on performance anxiety on tue. night Let me get this straight.... 1. grip sloper. 2. lose footing. 3. gravity pulls downward. 4. sloper holds. 5. shoulder pops. Thats a mad grip on the plastic, man! Props to ya!
