At what place do you have the climb of your life and were is the most beautiful and nice place that have you stay at? 8)

so far i'd have to say it was my first big wall aid climb in yosemite - the west face of the leaning tower. overall it was the best experience i've had ... and one of the most beautiful places i've stayed. (fyi, camping on glaciated volcanoes is hard to beat!) i've had other really, really wonderful climbs, too, though.

My wife and I went to the Red River Gorge a few days after we were married... although it was too cold that October, the rock was absolutely DELICIOUS 8) I HIGHLY reccommend it

Les Calanques near Marseille on the French Coast. Camping out by the sea...and beautiful white rocks all around, very quiet.. *sigh*

bouldering around at Rotary park on Christmas day with nary a person to be seen, several years ago, 60F and quiet, nothing was stirring, not even a mouse

Arapiles , Australia for Christmas and new years a few years ago was/is the best and most memorable climbing local for me.

I'm not sure if it was the climb of my life...but the last great climb was in August, going the direct exum on the grand. Everything clicked--the partner, the rock, the weather, the confidence. Love those days.
It seems like the partner is the most critical component of days like this.

one of many has to be last year in Mexico
put up a new 40+ pitch trad route with my girlfriend bivied on the sumitt the next morning the place was covered with clouds 800ft below us with blue skies above and all the mountain tops poking thru the clouds we were the only people there with blue skies and a fantastic sunrise. a special climb at a special place
remember your a little closer to heaven, when on the wall
