I'm gonna be in china for the first 18 days of March, and I wanted to get some climbing in while I'm there. Anybody need a partner? I'll be bringing my own harness/shoes/belay/biner/safeties.

Just came back from a 3 week trip to China- My reccomendation would be to get the sightseeing out of the way asap and get down to Yangshuo for as much time as possible. Only an hour away from Guilin. Plenty of great limestone, lots of local and international climbers passing through, a few
climbing companies (chinaclimb), bouldering bars (yay 4 drunken bouldering!!), good weather, friendly people, fantastic environment, great food and DIRT CHEAP. One week just wasnt enough for me, Ill be moving over there later in the year for at least a month.

Make sure you go to the yellow mountians. You will need to take an interpreter with you. But they are the most beutiful rock I have seen on this whole planet.
