I would like to go to Chile next year and do some trekking. I'm sure someone on this site has gone to the Torres Del Paine and done the circuit. Could anyone give me some input on the best way to do this plus some info regarding side trips (i.e. Lake Argentina/Fitzroy region). Lonely Planet guides state it is illegal to go into areas of the park by yourself but such laws are hard to enforce. I guess I need a lot of info, mostly anecdotal, regarding season (Nov. vs. March), travel companions or lack thereof, necessary time in the park, etc. What I really want is someone to correspond with should I have questions, and I will. Thanks
