The last climb I put up was at an area in NY (My own little secret spot) called Molson Hill (that is where we used to go drinking as teenagers, and you guessed it - we drank Molson). "Domestic Piss Beer" Other climbs in that area - "Stupid f*ing landlord", " Shoulda gone cavin" (There are some caves in the area that I used to explore) and "Maddie's" (The last one is named for the 5.4 line that my 8 year old daughter (then 6) climbed on TR - I walked to the top of the cliff, set up a TR and she sent it :) )

I put up a little problem that scales the first story of my dorm room and ends up traversing across to enter the window of the computer lab. When I did it, I got the usual array of, "you know you can kill yourself doing that" comments. Since I'm in spain, I named the route Hombre en la Ventana (man in the window) after the Dali painting Mujer en la Ventana.

Creaping Into Darkness, 5.9. I spent two long days cleaning and drilling this route. At the end of the second day the sun started to set and the shadows from the surrounding hills started to move and grow. That is how it was named.

I agree that a route should be named after climbing it reflecting some experience concerned with the climb ........... stating that we have a climb in South Africa called "babies blood gives me gas"...... hmm I wonder what climbing experiences those route setters had :)

I'm thinking I'll name a couple of climbs after personalities I've "met" on this board. An offwidth that I'm contemplating in Senneca: "Brutus' Wyde Crack" A REALLY short boulder problem: "Climbsomething Else" A REALLY nasty 5.10 flared finger crack: "Crackaddict Sez It's 5.8" A sport climb with a lot of "fiber": jt512's Dietary Restrictions" A trad climb that's 26.2 miles from the trailhead: "Roughster's Workout" A jug haul......."I Think Her Dog Might Bite Me" Now where was that TOS? Insert all appropriate emoticons here:

I've always had this good name for a route in mind. The route would have to have a roof in it somewhere and involve a few campus moves to get through it, and I would call it: "BIG MAN ON CAMPUS".

I want to start a crag called the Bond Crag. Name all routes like Thunderball, The Man with the Golden Gun, Moonraker, Live and Let Die, etc. Maybe this has already been done somewhere? Who knows?
