Looking for partners for the Squamish area. I live in Squamish, have a rack, rope and fifteen years experience. Right now I'm leading in the 5.10 range for trad but hope to do mid 5.11 by the summer time. If we get a good weather window (2-3 days of no rain) call me and we'll hook up. All I ask is that you're safety conscious and a good belayer (been dropped, it sucked). e-mail me at jomifoko@yahoo.com

Kojo, there is a really good chance that I will be in Squamish for a week or so this summer. If you would like to meet up and tick off some climbs, especially The Chief, please let me know. I'll probably get back to you as the summer draws nearer. <=glen=>

I'll be at Squamish towards the end of June most likely. I'll be coming with at least two other climbers, but a local is ALWAYS welcome to climb with us and show us around. We will be doing pretty much everything; bouldering, sport, and trad. I'll let you know when our plans are a little more concrete.

Hey, I'll be staying at the squamish hostel from April 13th onwards. maybe 3-4 weeks. Already have a friend working there and she would love to get out and climb - her name is Kim. We plan on climbing all day everyday until we burn out! PM me if you want to catch up. sally.

hey - maybe i should be a weather reporter! got in a stack of climbing and squamish rocks! best climb - The Ultimate Everything - great way to get to the top of the chief! I think we did 14 pitches - started with St Vedus Dance, then Boomstick Crack (memorial crack was wet) and then around the gully to UE. A MUST do! 9 hrs car to car. we swung leads and took our time. sweet. everyone that is thinking of it - squamish is a great place to be - and if you stay at the squamish international hostel they have a cool bouldering cave for the rain days - or nights you aren't climbing Dierdre (the only way you are going to get on it without waiting in line - but goodluck finding the bolt on the second pitch!) sorry for raving, have fun.
