Looks like a big bro with two cam lobes bolted onto the ends. Sketchy...

Yikes! It looks inherently unstable!

If the direction of fall was slightly off axis, it could blow easily.

I'd conctact EBay and let them know people are selling death traps.
I've never seen one, and never want to.
Impoeted from the United States? I thought Friends were made in England.

hahahaaahaha!

nice.

Last time I saw anything like that it was under glass at the Gendarme in Seneca, along with all manner of rusted out old pins and sh!tty buttonheads. Kind of a "can-you-believe-people-climbed-above-this-gear-through-the-ages!?" exhibit.

Wow. Last time i saw a Size-Mo was around 10+ years ago. A friend lent one to try out. Lots of laughs toying with it.
The one i tried went 4-8-12-16 inches!!!
I heard they were made in Colorado, by ?. Can't remember. oh Colorado mountain works?!?! or something like that .

it looks like you'd use it like a big bro (from trango)....wedge it in the crack, with a spring loaded camming lobes...biner links to wire loops coming off of the cams....a weird design to say the least..

I havent seen such a thing in personal, but i have read something about it on this site (Aid section?)
If i remember correctly it is a seizmo (could also be seismo sizemo size-mo ...) and it was made by CCH.
Im to lazy to search, but there was a thread.

even if it was stable (which it isnt), the thing would be such a beast to set it wouldnt be worth the trouble.

I think you guys were seeing a CCH seismo. Not a death trap. It actually was marketed by CCH and sold, but later phased out. I would have bought it as a collectors item, not to climb on. If you look up cam history you can read more about it.

The idea will probably take over sometime, a big bro that can be placed in a non paralel crack do to some type of camming device on both ends. Someone just needs to make one that is easy and save to install when leading.

I guess you didn't see the date on the original post. It's long gone.
