like 1 month ago, my dad was victim of an internet piracy attempt after I bought plane tickets on the net. Here it's my turn. I had a bank account with a deficit, so I mailed a letter to the bank to ask for a transfer from count A to count B (in the same bank). Wednesday afternoon. Me on the net. The phone rings. Banker : " Hello, Mr Ribière, we got your letter, do you really want to transfer the sum X from count A to count B, and transfer the remaining of the count A to Indonesia?" Me, probably browsing thru the Community forum, using an old phone in my room with a bad sound and not listening very carefully : "uh, yeah... - Do you really want to put this money on this count in Indonesia? - What? What do you ask me? - We got your letter asking us to transfer your money to the count blablabla in Jakarta... - Are you kidding? - No, I have the letter in my hands where you ask us this transaction! - but I never wrote this letter. that's a joke, or maybe I'm a sleepwalker and don't remember what I wrote." The banker laughs with me. Me : "Is it a written letter? - No, it's printed. - (I quiclky look on my hard drive and find no trace of this letter - I was quite sure I hand wrote it). I don't find anything on my PC. When did you get it? - We got it yesterday. - But I mailed it 10 eyars ago!!! - YOu mailed it? We got it via a private delivery service! - So it was hijacked in the post!!! - OK, Mr Ribière, we call the Financial Squad and we ask for an Inquiry. We just need your agreement to lodge a complaint. - Ok, you have it. And thank you for calling me." ...

bump! last episodes : My bank sent me last week the false letter : full of grammar and vocabulary mistakes. My signature was grossely falsified. Today, I got a paid bill from FedEx France (remember, the swiss bank got the false letter by a special delivery not by post mail) with my name as the name of the sender (of course!). So I immediately called FedEx: they could just told me that the bill was paid cash (59 € - hopefully, i didn't have to pay it!) and that the false letter was given directly at a FedEx desk in France(but didn't know where in France) by the criminals. The financial squad must call me today. I know via my banker that the squas already collected some digital prints. 1) the gang has my address. 2) There was a bombing in Jakarta 2 days ago. Coincidence? Or International crime organisation? 3) I truely love this story! Am I crazy?
