USA Today / CNN poll of likely voters, nationwide 10-17-04:
Bush - 52%
Kerry - 44%
I guess "winning" those three debates didn't do Kerry much good.

Will they once again denounce the democratic process if the upcoming election does not go their way? Will they be demanding recount after recount in a desparate effort to construe a political victory?
The fact is that they should support Bush because if he is reelected, Hillary Clinton may be the presidential candidate for 2008...nirvana for the far left.

note that i didnt imply that the republicans are stupid, just public in general.
thats why politicians get elected. they can lie to people and we believe them. its that easy. who lies better than the other gets elected.

Yes and yes. In fact, they ahve already sent out election-day memos instructing people to cry "voter disenfranchisement" regardless if there is any evidence of it or not.

Well, since you asked: democracy is founded on the expectation that the voting population is educated. The majority of people out there aren't educated one way or another. Inherently, it's a flawed system. That's why we have representative democracy.
But, I guess it's like how stupid people have a million kids and smart people tend to have none or one or two - its the uneducated that rule with their uneducated, yet mass, vote.

Not worth repeating. It's little more than pseudo-intellectual elitism. The ability to absorb facts and regurgitate them in the form of a term paper, or a doctoral thesis says very little about a persons intelligence or cognitive reasoning ability. I've met morons with MBA's and brilliant individuals swinging hammers on construction sites.

I'm not on the far left. The masses are still stupid. No, scratch that. The masses are ignorant and apathetic. Stupid would imply the don't have a choice. They do have a choice. They're failing to make it.
