I know what you are going to say: 'all the climbing is prime' My friend and I are road tripping to the area the third week in June
i would just like to know where you think there is a high concentration of quality (most of all FUN) bouldering and sport climbing
if you could tell me how to get there from major highways too, that would be great

Check out climbingboulder.com for a great guide. Eldorado Canyon is one of the world's top trad climbing spots. Lumpy Ridge in Estes Park is a great granite trad area. The First Flatiron is a fun, moderate but run-out 10 pitch climb.
These places are where I'd go first on a road trip.

Check out the Website www.climbingboulder.com. They will have all the information you need on how to get to an area. My personal favorites is The Monestary (not really all that close), Clear Creek Canyon, and Boulder Canyon for sport climbing, and Carter Lake and Flagstaff for bouldering, but I don't boulder around Boulder much.

Just to reiterate what Steve said - the Flatirons and Eldo are, IMHO, the best. Start off there and then head elsewhere if you didn't find what you're looking for.

Edit: wigglestick is right, I failed to notice that you're primarily heading for sport and bouldering. The Flatirons are primarily trad with a few bolts here and there, and Eldo has a good number of bolted lines, but Clear Creek Canyon's probably your best bet for sport. Good call, wigglestick.

I agree that Eldo and the Flatirons are outstanding areas but not for sport climbing and bouldering. Well maybe bouldering but anyway. For sport climbing I would check out Clear Creek Canyon which is west of Denver on Highway 6. Boulder Canyon also has some good sport climbing. There are also some excellent smaller areas north west of near Estes Park and Lyons. My advice is to go to Boulder and visit Neptune Mountaineering which is at the corner of Table Mesa Road and Highway 93. Browse the extensive library of guidebooks they have and then buy a few and head in practically any direction (except east) and then start climbing. climbingboulder.com is a good start but it only has the main areas and some of the high quality smaller areas are not listed.
