Yes MEC is rad but I don't know if they can still ship out side of Can. The last time I talked to them I was told they can only sell MEC brand stuff out of Can. But hey check it out because the prices are great!

I think that www.gearexpress.com is a really good place to buy.
www.rei.com has pretty good deals.
www.mgear.com has alot of stuff but they are high.

I hope this helps!

Look for the thread "Great Gear Deals" in the Used Gear/Gear Deals forum. It has many suggestions. You can also try clicking on the banner ads for gearexpress.com and sportsextreme.com.

Let me put in another good word for GearExpress, good prices, friendly service, quick shipping, actual climbers who use what they sell.

Another place no one mentioned is http://www.climbaxe.com
They sell mainly European gear such as Cassin, Rock Pillars, Edelrid, Ocun and Kong. I really like my Cassin EcoDraws and they are only $8.95 each.
htt://www.rockempire.com sells some great cams at a very low price, they have recieved some favorable reviews from Rock and Ice and Climbing magazines, plus on another forum thread on this website as well.
Be safe out there and climb on!

www.shorelinemtn.com

www.mgear.com

www.linkupgear.com

Also, REI offeres the same prices as the rest basically, and if you join, you get ten percent of your purchases back.

I just bought from Acme Climbing and got an incredible deal on some cams and a new helmet.

Sean, the guy who was working with me, was excellent and made sure that I'd have my gear for my trip this weekend.

Great gear, great prices, and great service.

Plus, they've been an advertiser here before and I stressed the importance that they advertise here again - so hopefully they will.

Hope this helps.
