I apologise in advance as this may be a ski related question. Im going to the Alps in a month and i need some reading on the off piste and climbs around val d'isere. Specifically im looking for 'Val D'Isere/Tignes Off Piste', also volume 1 and 3 of the mont blanc massif, and i know there is a randonnee book for chamonix (when i was living there i saw it, but never bought it!). Anyways amazon, barnesandnoble, etc... don't have it, or its consistently out of stock. Ive searched forever to find an online bookstore that would sell these guide books, but ultimately didn't find anything. So, where can i find the books i want, moreover, what resources do you use to find information on area in which you want to explore? thank you for your time yann

Chessler Books is an excellent resource for mountaineering books. I didn't see the Off Piste book you mentioned, but they seem to have the Blanc books: http://www.chesslerbooks.com/...rSearch=blanc+massif If you don't find what you're looking for using the Search feature of the site, try contacting them. Michael Chessler may know where to find the books he doesn't carry.
