In reply to: Well everyone is back and the site seems to be holding up. What did you do during the server crashes? i got a lot of work done, saved my company over $10K USD by developing a custom add in to one of our programs, and I'm learning VB programming.

In reply to: Well everyone is back and the site seems to be holding up. What did you do during the server crashes? Had a crash with two girls (not the same time) which I shouldn't have touched. Humptyhumptyhump... (Someone out there I could pay for another DOS-attack?) Morn' folks! Enfin the usual waste-of-time in the morning coffee. *sniff* Group hug! *sniff* I MISSED YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH! When my tears of joy have dried I may take a coffee with baleys. - Daniel

Morning all, I am very sad today. I have been staying at my cousin's condo (paying her the maximum I can afford on my small living stipend from my volunteer position) and am now moving out. She is trying to sell her place and apparently my lack of furniture hasn't helped her cause. Um, she knew that when I moved in. The realtor shows it to people whenever they feel like it with no notice given to me and then they get upset when it's not perfectly neat & tidy? Ah, whatever. Anyway, her email was very condescending this morning and made me cry. She acts like she did me a huge favor by charging me the maximum to stay there while I barely had enough $$ to go out. It's not my fault she has to pay for her mortgage and for her apartment in DC. Those are things to consider before taking a job in another city. Anyway, I found a crappy little studio and will be moving in there this weekend. I've now learned that you can't bother to ask family for anything. Well, I actually never asked her to stay there..she wanted me to be there. I appreciate having a roof over my head but if I had known it would've ended up like this, I wouldn't have bothered. It just left a bad taste in my mouth. :?

Good luck out there Marge. That sucks Maww, just like my family, they treat you like crap but expect you to take it because you're family or some garbage. You don't need that, just leave em all behind like I did, it's great. Got to work today!

You didn't make it to work yesterday winter? I need a snowed-in day. I just feel crawling back under the covers today. Yeah I won't put her high on my list of people to talk to again. She has no respect for what I'm out here to do. I certainly would never charge a family member full rent or any rent for that matter. I'm tired of being nice and just getting hurt. Sometimes I am far too sensitive. I'll join you winter - I'll ditch the majority of my family. My immediate family is good but most others are self-absorbed and inconsiderate. I think most of the world is that way though.

Maybe if you take a quick stop in Germany you'll find the real stuff... Perhaps you're kucky and the flight goes via Frankfurt/Main. Think I would rather skip the beer there and switch to vine. There's decent stuff coming from down under. Unfortunatly I never could afford a trip to Aussie land by noe but I wish I could make it some time. Just not for the beer though. - Daniel

ive got an entire year of living there, so a few things will have to be tried. 1)the climbing 2)watching some good rugby league (may even start training again) 3)yelling who wares short shorts at an aussies rules football game. 4)wouldnt mind watching the international rules game in perth this summer. a game that basically mixes galic football and aussie rules, got to be worth a laugh. 5) maybe even take up surfin or something else equally daft.

In reply to: me im moving to australia in 3 weeks and four days and counting. anyone know of any decent beers they may have over there? Touey's Old. Draught, or in a bottle (the cans suck). That's all you need to know. It's excellent. I'm nearly heartbroken that I can't get Touey's Old here in the States. T
