I have been at it since 1988. I have mostly trad climbed in the West (Yosemite, JTree, Moab,Northern AZ). I spent 10 yrs in New England visiting The Gunks, Canon, Cathedral Ledge among other places. If I had to pick one spot as the center of 'my universe', it would have to be the Moab/Canyonlands area, both for shear beauty and for the adventure of climbing there.
Life and family has recently brought me back to the West and the Portland area. I am a safe and sane climber that will climb cracks/face/plastic at whatever grade fits the mood. I am recently getting back into this great sport after a couple year break. Anybody that is looking for somebody to climb with at PDX rock gym, outdoor crags or other local spot, either bouldering or roped climbs, drop me a line. I haven't yet gotten out to Smith Rock, but may be able to free up time to make an occassional jaunt out there as well. darren.singer@comcast.net
