I placed around 100 of these. They are a great bolt for hard rock. Boo fing hoo Anyone can take your hangers if they have a 3 ft crowbar. If you put up a quality line people won't take your hangers. I have chopped around 30+ wanker bolts that have sprouted on 3rd class slabs to 40 year old classics. Think before you sink or your investment will stink. I'm working on a bolt puller that will make real easy to chop/replace bolts.

Perfect anchors for medium to hard rock. Just donīt ever mix them with non SS hardware and follow all tips for their installation. By the way... to avoid bolt hanger theft you can:

1. Glue the nut to the anchor.
2. (prior to installation) place the bolt hanger on place, place the nut, ruin the remaining threads and install. Thefts might me able to loosen up the anchor but if the work is done well it will be impossible to steal the bolt hanger.

NOTE: All this tricks make really hard to substitute the anchor when needed. (read hard but not imposible).

If you are using a Wedge bolt, there is a simple precaution to take for its removal. Just drill your hole an extra quarter to half inch. Then you can just hammer the bolt flush with the rock when it becomes useless.

Those bolts suck! Someone can steal the hanger and you can't remove them from the hole when it's time to replace them. All you can do is break the threads off and drill a new hole. Wedge bolts suck. Don't use them!
