Review 5 out of 5 stars

Review by: danrauscher, 2004-04-20

I just got these shoes, and I absolutely love them.
They fit my shoe like a glove. At first they seemed a bit tight, but since they're unlined, they stretch out. They're sized similarly to most shoes I've tried, except for some Mad Rocks and the Boreal Zen. I got these over the internet, never having tried them on, so I guess I was lucky that they fit. If you happen to buy them, I think that Bufo has some sort of deal where you can send them back and get a different size for cheap, in case they don't fit. In fact they fit so well, that I can comfortably climb with the shoes unvelcro-ed. I only really need to velcro them to do heel hooks and the like.

One problem I thought I would have with these shoes is that there is only sticky rubber in the front part of the shoe. However, this hasn't been a problem for me yet. I've used the heel on small things, and haven't had any problems with the lack of sticky rubber. The lack of sticky rubber in the middle of the shoe seems to make the shoe a lot more flexible. Not neccessarily a good or bad thing, just something to get used to. I really like it.

These shoes are very good at smearing and edging. Plus they are very easy to put on and take off, making them very convenient. (They have 2 pull loops, which makes them easier to put on than Zens, for example, which only have one).

Overall a very good shoe. Plus its got crazy amounts of sex appeal... (says the website)
