Awesome harness for sport routes. It feels a little heavier than my BD Momentum, but it's a lot more comfy. Nice slim profile, fits me perfectly.

Oh glorius comfort! that is the best part about this harness. I have owned a few harnesses in the past(REI, BD, Metolius) and this is by far the best. After getting a pay check and needing a new harness I said why not shell out hte 70 bucks? and did. Since then this summer has been great. Its easy to get in and out of with the dual waist buckles. Its comfortable both on falls and when you have to hang dog(I know not all of us do it, but I need to), or just giving that long belay.

This is just a wonderful harness.

The Petzl Corax is my first harness. I have not owned any others. I have tried on quite a few others, but the Corax is the most comfortable. If you want a good indoor or single pitch harness, the Corax is for you. The delta system in the leg loops keeps things comfortable. Although I won't be getting another Corax after mine is done, I would still recommend it to those of us who don't spend shelling out $100!!

The Petzl Corax is my favorite of the four harnesses I have owned and the many others I have used. I wanted it originally for its padding - and I thought its features were a little much for my simple tastes - but I've come to enjoy the double-back buckles and strong gear loops.
- Good padding, rarely pinches the boys. I also really like the parts where there isn't padding - on parts of the leg loops. 9/16" webbing at the leg buckle makes it easy for me to clip my rappel autobloc without much fumbling buckles on the waist belt make it really easy to put on and take off very quickly. No fumbling with doubling back thick webbing (ie my singing rock and arc teryx harnesses)- No rear haul loop. Perhaps Petzl intended the 5kn gear loops to be used for hauling, but it puts your weight off centerA- The price is great for a high-end piece, but not great for most climbers. For me, it was a gift, which I considered exchanging for the next model down (Corvus), but I'm ultimately very pleased with the Corax. Would buy it again.

This is my second harness it took the place of my BOD. I love the auto double back system and the padding is just right. The only disadvantage is the lack of a rear gear loop for a chalk bag. However i have found a solution to it. This has become my favorite of the two harnesses.
