Review 5 out of 5 stars

Oh, and they're machine washable too, since the leather's "cowdura" or something fake like that. It won't ruin the shoes to throw them in the washing machine. I've washed mine about 4 or 5 times with no damage to the shoe. Avoid the dryer though, I can't imagine that heat being good for the bonding agent in the sole.

my first experience with 5.10's stealth rubber, and man this stuff is really sticky. i like these shoes, they edge well, smear well....seem to do everything well with the exception of cracks. great for bouldering, easy to slip on and off.

A great shoe for bouldering and sport, indoor and out. I wore these shoes to death. Precise and good stiffness for edging and pointing. Works best on vertical and steep face climbing. Size these shoes tight, but not so tight that your hair curls, since they don't stretch much. Not as versatile as their lace-up counterparts.

These are easily the highest performing shoes I've used. They edge better than anything else out there in my opinion, and the pointed toes really is helpful, even on rock other than limestone. That said, the construction is terrible. Both of mine have fallen apart rather quickly. Good customer service (sent me a new pair) keeps these shoes at a 4, but they'll only get a 5 if the construction gets beefed up.

Awesome. Plain and simple. These were my first pair of shoes way back when they were the turquouise color. They smear, point, edge, like crazy. Not for cracks though.
