first shoe i've owned... love the velcroe feature, quick to get in and out of. very sticky, great fit with pain in my toes during the break in which wasn't long. i would recommend these to anyone looking for a good inexpensive pair of shoes.

A great shoe for $70. I've used them primarily for bouldering and a bit of sport climbing. I went down a full size from my street shoe, and while this was somewhat painful (I have wide EE feet) it was not unbearable, and after 3 or 4 long bouldering sessions they became reasonably comfortable. Personally I wouldn't want to wear them on a long multi-pitch route, especially if I had to jam cracks or make a long descent in them.

I got these shoes about 3 months ago and I've been climbing with them in the gym a lot and I've taken them with me to J-Tree a few times and they've been great. they fit my feet perfectly. the rubber is ultra sticky and they edge great. the rubber is a little softer then most and wears a bit fast but no complaints from me about them.

First, to answer any questions on there durability:
I climbed in these shoes for nearly every day for two months over the summer on rough granite, and even with my poor technique they still held up!

And do they PERFORM!?
These things stuck on things that made my friends cringe at, in their 5.10's or Boreals, maybe Im just a ddamn good climber, but im sure its not that, its all in the shoe.
They are really soft, but I found that since these fit my foot so well, I could edge on credit cards, no problem.

I was originally looking at the Hooker Zips, but after one of my coworkers pair of Mugen's started imploding on themselves (dual-density rubber started to seperate) I think I may stick with their non-dual density shoes, until they fix that problem.

Have been wanting a pair of these since I first started climbing. I have the Hookers and I really liked them. I just happen to get a pair of these for "free" at my gym...did some work for the owner and well, shoes were a great trade. I climbed in them, BTW I got a half size UP from my street size, and I love them. I needed an easy on/off show for the gym and these are great..plus they are MAD sticky. you can just smear the whole way up in these puppies. Get 'em if you've been thinking about 'em.
