These are the most comfortable trousers the world has ever seen!
The knee is articulated (and articulated in the correct position!!)
The crotch has a diamond set into it so along with the knee, you have almost total(depending on your own dis-jointedness) freedom of movement.
They are seriously hard wearing. My 1st pair are 3 years old and have seen LOTS of abuse.
Pretty much windproof. Dry quick.
And the sinch cord is top class when climbing!
Best of all... They look really cool in the pub (even when covered in chalk!)
