Good all purpose biner. Inexpensive, but heavy. Start your rack with these so you can replace them all with wires when you get more gear. Actually, I always keep a couple on the rack. They come in handy more often then you might suspect.

For the price....good oval biner. Good for racking and general camp uses.

Added to my gear list as a mainstay for my top rope anchors. It's cheap and weaker than most, but when you double and triple them up they work just fine. The profile keeps them nice and even when opposite and opposed. Their size helps to minimize the rope bend.
