Blue Water all the way.
I wouldn't go w/ any other brand for static rope.

This rope would have to be the standard workhorse that is both durable and handles well. I`ve had Blue Water ropes now for about 8 years and have found them to be excellent in hard working environments. Of course you have to protect them from excess wear over sharp edges like any other rope. I haven`t got a bad thing to say about these ropes, they aren`t glamorous but they simply do the job which is exactly what is expected of them.

All black static rope I use for rapelling with my ROTC buds. Really nice rope for what I use it for.
