My first pair of climbing shoes. I personally think these are great for beginners. The comfort is beyond awesome (well for me they were, we all have different feet), I could keep them on for hours. Of course the rubber isn't as good as the rubber in other brand's shoes (not as sticky), but they performed well to a degree. They don't perform well on hard climbing (overhangs and extreme edging), but I doubt they were made for such. Got these for $70 new from a sports store. If you're a looking for a good comfortable shoe, give them a try. I was very satisfied with this investment.

extremely comfortable and great performance

These are good shoes, geared toward the intermediate climber or beginner. They have a slightly downturned last for performance on steeper stuff as well. Comfort and price are top on the list, and performance is right were it should be for the climber its marked for. Still, they can climb harder stuff, but just not all of it, I guess you could say. The down side is the toe is a bit blunt, and the heel is too low and not good for hooks. Over all very pleased with the shoe. 4.5

A great shoe for the money, so far so good. I bought my pair a week ago and have climbed in them a few times (indoors) and they're breaking in and forming to my foot very well.
Toras seem to be a good balance of comfort, performance, and cost, which is why I give them a 5. The rubber is good and sticky, and the sensitivity is better than beginner shoes, not as good as super high-end shoes.
I sized mine tight, yet my toes aren't mushed together in extreme pain. On the downside, the heel cup doesn't grip as tight as other shoes (like the anasazis). All in all though, I'm happy with them so far. I'll post back later if I change my mind.
