I bought a few of these when they first entered the market a while ago and they've held up great. They are much lighter, skinner, and still as strong. I still have some reservations as to the durability and how much abrasion they can take. I guess only time will tell. My only complaint about them is that because they are lighter/skinner they are also more flimsy and more easily tangled in and around other equipment - especially if you have a lot to rack-up. Still - when combined with a lightweight biner (like the Trango Superfly) they can significantly reduce the weight of your rack and make it easier to climb.
