Great poles for the backcountry. I've used them for snowshoeing, backcountry skiing and hiking. Worth the price.

Packs small, fast, and light! Great stove when space and weight are your primary considerations. I also like the adjustable flame. If you buy this stove, definately get the windscreen to go with it. Be extra careful not to drip water or snow on the ceramic pezo insulator when it's hot, it will crack!

I would suggest to only use these on FLAT land. The bindings twist making it very difficult to traverse any kind of slope. Steer clear of these if you have aspirations of mountain travel!

It has room for my 60m rope, harness and chalk bag. Two suggested improvements would be a small zippered pocket on the outside and maybe a second carry strap so it could be worn more like a backpack on the approach.
