At $59.95 you can't beat this pad. It's only 3 inches thick, but after extensive falling (I mean testing), this pad definitely does the job from falls up to 8 ft. The material wipes down easily and you can remove the foam to let it dry if necessary. And this pad definitely beats hauling around a smelly old mattress.
