Super Comfy 4 out of 5 stars

These are not an aggressive shoe as the previous reviewer pointed out. But I'd say that they do better a few more things than just long slab. They edge well because they are so stiff. They'd also be good for long face and slightly overhanging routes. The real nice thing about these shoes is how good they feel. I was really surprised how well they climbed considering I was wearing a half size bigger than my Galileo's. At the gym where I tried them out I could use all sorts of small subtle jibs easily. I'll admit that I have toenail problems in my big toe, so I was looking for a more comfy shoe to wear on days that my other shoes weren't working for me. I think I'll be really happy with these provided they don't stretch too much. What did you find sthcrag510? Do they stretch much with continued use? Overall I thought they fit better than the Galileo's in a size ten, those were not good at all when sized bigger. These were a nice surprise I thought. I didn't notice the sloshy problem, so its probably just an individual foot fit thing.

I recently got a new pair of these shoes, as an approach/easy climb/compulsiveclimb type of shoe. I'm really happy, these new updated models are better looking than the old school one in this photo, and they climb pretty well. I was surprised how well they grab and climb. Not much toe power but for an approach shoe its good. They seem to run a little smaller than other brands of "street shoe" so I got a half size up and my toes just touch the size 10.5 toe of the shoe. Could probably have just gotten size ten, but on longer hikes it would probably be uncomfortable. Quality seems great to me, and cushion is ample and very comfortable without interfereing with climbing ability.

These are good shoes, geared toward the intermediate climber or beginner. They have a slightly downturned last for performance on steeper stuff as well. Comfort and price are top on the list, and performance is right were it should be for the climber its marked for. Still, they can climb harder stuff, but just not all of it, I guess you could say. The down side is the toe is a bit blunt, and the heel is too low and not good for hooks. Over all very pleased with the shoe. 4.5

I'd say these were slightly better than just a 4 rating, but not a five since they don't have enough rubber on the heel at all. other than that they are pretty comfortable and perform pretty well. I had to wear them a little larger than the anasazi velcro . I don't think the workmanship was that shoddy, it seemd pretty good to me, at first but now have a slight problem with the heel top seam and the tab, hopefully I can fix it. I've grown fond of these shoes, they really do pull really well on the steep stuff for some reason, better than the velcros, and rather comfy too. Not as easy to get on as the velcros, and not as heel hooky. But they hook Ok, I guess, just on simple stuff.

I must say these are pretty sweet shoes. I tried out a pair and for overhangs and stuff they were designed for they work great. Very pointy toe is the stuff for small pockets. Fit very well and comfortably new. This is an advanced climbers shoe of course. I thought the heel was decent for hooks, tho it will slip off if really pushed hard since this is a slipper. They edge tollerably well on vert. terrain, tho a bit painful since they have a cambered last. La Sportiva quality.
