Misty Mountain sonic 5 out of 5 stars

Well after reading the reviews on this harness on RC.com most people seam to really like this harness. I have been using mine for several months ice climbing and light alpine and it ranks as one of the best harnesses I have ever had.
skidawg- Iam not sure what your issue was but the loop that hold the padding in works fine and the gear loops are perfectly centered for me, So I call your review user error.

This is my 6 th harness, all other were either BD or petzl, all of with worked just fine, but all put pressure on my legs in a hanging belay. But as far as comfort goes, the Sonic is increadble, it fits so well, I can hardly feel it. I lasted in a 30 minute hanging belay and my legs did not go to sleep. The gear loops can hold all most my full trad rack if I wanted to rack up on the harness. It has a ton of ajustability for any season, it fits with shots to snow pants on. Misty is deffantly high on my list for my next harness, possibly the cadi will be next for me.
I have one small issure that really is not a big deal, when seconding/cleaning, and I start out with no gear on the gear loops, the loops un loaded stick straight up with can get in the way of clothing. So cliping your fitst biner/gear can be annoying. once there is one biner or more the loops are just fine.

mountain 25 5 out of 5 stars

I was looking at the atlas 25 and the mountain 25s and chose to go with the tubbs. The reason I went with the tubbs mountain is because the bindings attach to the snowshoew via pin and barrings, the attlas via straps. what is nice about the pin and barring set up is that when I lift my foot up the snowshoes pivots tail down. this has allowed me to do some low 5th class climbing while wearing the snowshoes. The teeth on these shoes are good. Under the ball of the feet the crampons are a good 2 inches and as the foot steps it drives the spiks deeper into the snow. Under the heel there are python teeth like spikes that grip ice and logs like a dream. Just for kicks I tosses some webbing around my weist and was able to climb a tree in these shoes. I have had these for a winter now and have put on over 300 miles on them, they have been great. Nothing yet has broken or failed.

Sharp 4 out of 5 stars

I really like this rope. It is the only rope so far that has lasted for more that one season. I useall go through one rope per summer, but the sharp has performed well. Its fairly supple but is stiff enough for easy clipping. The only down side is that the sharp only comes in a 10.5 and 8.5mm, a mid to high 9mm would be perfect. I climb on some sharp limestone and the sheath after two seasons is mildly fuzzy and warn, much better than ther ropes I have tried. This rope would be a great top rope for any biginner. for lead is get a bit heavy...

pros:
cheap
solid buckle, it never slips
great single pitch harness

Cons:
no haul loop
uncomfortable, it cut in after a while.
floppy gear loops

I have owned this harness for 3 years now and Iam ready to retire it, it warn out. For single pitch sport climbs its is a good harness. The gear loops are a bit floopy so racking up a bunch of gear can be a pain. there is no rear haul loop so I had to rig up some webbing to get a second rope up after me.
the leg loops are cut bad for me, it cuts in fast, hanging belys are painful and my lags fall asleap.
conclusion
single pitch its a fine harness, for any thing else get a more equiped harness.

Great shoe 5 out of 5 stars

Size them down they streach. I got mine 2.5 sizes small and now they are perfectly tight with no pain. Super sticky but you need to bulid up your feet. They do not provide much support, but once you feet are used to it and you put on a supportive shoe you feel SUPER stable on the small stuff. great on just about any rock that I have climbed and great for training strong feet. I lll get them again when they ware out.
