I've owned the the 2003 model of this pack for about a year. The biggest con is its weight, nearly 7 pounds. The positive side to this is the suspension is just so damn comfortable that you don't notice that extra weight. On level ground its like you don't even have a pack on. Part of the comfort comes from the heavily curved, very stiff foam in the hip belt, though if the curve of the hip belt doesn't match your curves then it might not be as comfortable for you, so make sure to try before you buy. The pouch on the back has a drainage hole for putting wet gear in, it also will hold a 6-pack and about 3 pounds of ice easily and will keep the beer cold for a few hours if you stay out of the sun.
There aren't very many pockets, which is annoys me a bit as my usual packing strategery is to just toss everything into the pack and I have trouble finding things sometimes.
All-in-all I've got nothing bad to say about this pack, perhaps not worth the $370 (I paid $250) but its crazy-comfortable and looks (after a year of abuse) like its going to last forever.

I purchased and started using this biner after I noticed my belay biner had flipped 90 degrees and I was belaying off the gate once. I gave it a 4 purely for safety. Otherwise I don't really like this biner. Its overly heavy, the plastic gate catches on everything unless you snap it shut every time, which is a PitA if you are just clipping it to a gear loop and aren't actualy using it for anything....and the biggest issue is that avoiding cross-loading when belaying doesn't actually keep any safer, only the person I'm belaying. I should be making my partners use this :-).

pluses:
I got this pack because its the only laptop compatable backpack I've ever seen that can do reasonably double duty as a daypack. I would have given this pack 5 biners easy if it wasn't for the odd pockets. They would be easier to use if they were square instead of tubular.

Weighs just barely over a pound, packs down to the size of a nerf ball. I love this sleeping bag!

The only positive feature of these pants is the fabric. Very durable, protects your knees from scrapes, drys quickly. Otherwise you'd be better off getting some pants from Old Navy.
1) They use cheap zippers. After a few washings its almost impossible to remove the legs to convert these pants to shorts
2) Pockets are way too deep. When I put anything big in my pocket it drops down to a little over knee level and bangs around when I walk. Unlike all other pants I own, I can't put anything heavy in my pockets.
3) Cargo pockets and hand pockets share the same space. The cargo pockets are simply a piece of fabric sewn on the outside of the hand pockets. If you put something big in the cargo pockets then you can't put anything in the hand pockets, and vice versa. Why even bother putting cargo pockets on pants if they don't offer any more space?
4) Belt buckle is sharp. I have to tuck my shirt in when I'm sitting down, otherwise the sharp little belt buckle cuts into my belly.
All in all I still wear these pants a lot because the fabric is great and the convertible feature is nice, but I would definitely not recommend anyone buy these pants.
