While playing on a set of travelling rings (www.swingaring.com), I really enjoyed the Tite-Grip. The smooth metal surface of the rings didn't cause the coating the rub off, and the product worked excellently...No chalk needed...until I picked up my backpack by the rough strap and rubbed some off. I doubt it'd work really well for climbing for that reason, as j_ung suggested before. It works really well for the rings, and I bet if you were a golfer or skier, or perhaps even a dancer, it'd be great.
