Well this is the chalk supplied by my gym, so naturally I was weened on it and have an affinity for it. I don't really use too much of it, since my palms are naturally dry for the most part. I can't speak for the Bison chalkball, but since this is, "bulk chalk and intended to be used in a chalk bag," I guess that doesn't really matter.

As a chalkbag I suppose its about as good as it gets. Like others said, its kinda pricey, so find it on sale or somethin. Basically, it looks nice, and feels great when you give it a good fisting, guess thats all that really matters anyhow.

Was able to pick up a used pair of these bad boys for free from work. They are quite comfortable, and their primary usage deals in longer climbs, trad, or stuffing them in cracks. Boreal rubber is...well boreal rubber, and its not good. Not a favorite, but it serves its purpose.

These are the shoes used by the climbing wall I work at for rent. They seems to serve their purpose fairly well, as 'unbreakable rental shoes'. However, even these shoes can easily succumb to the nasty footwork of gym noobs. Honestly, the boss doesn't seems too thrilled with them, and is sending a bunch back that show early delamination. I don't see any rational climber purchasing them for personal use, unless thats all they could get their hands on.

Safe Tech Deluxe Harness - Mens Average Rating = 4.33/5 Average Rating : 4.33/5

Going from a beatdown rental harness to this 'deluxe' beauty was incredible. My partner and I were able to get it pro-deal for $50 each through our work. Ridiculously comfortable, especially for long hanging belays while setting routes etc. Adjustable leg loops were a plus, and the spectra/tubed gear loops are awfully snazzy. However, I don't really see the difference between the various Metolious Safetech harness in regards to 'mens/womens.' The product description seems pretty accurate....beefy...
