Wait a minute here, were the above reviews all written by reps of the company or something? Because that's the only reason for such positive feedback. Based on these reviews I grabbed a jar of this stuf last weekend at Miguel's, smeared it all over my hands and went to sleap thinking "Gee, my mits'll be indestructable tomorrow!". Flash forward to the next morning's warmup, I notice as i clean the chains that my fingers are in rough shape! It seema like this goo softened my caluses to the point where they fell apart on an easy warmup route (Bear in mind that this is not J-tree i'm climbing at but the relativly forgiving RRG). Bottom line, if you like your skin, keep this stuf off of it. Smells nice though.

Of all the ropes I've used, this one handles the best. It seems to be actively opposed to tangling and twisting and seems eager to jump into carabiners. I've had no problems with abrasion. It seems that the longer i use it the softer and more supple it becomes. the only problem i can think of (and i'm really fishing here) is that it seem to pick up more dirt and aluminum oxide than other ropes i've used, but otherwise it's great and i'd totally buy it again.

I like this helmet alot, though thankfully i've never had to use it. It is light and comfortable and well ventalated and will acomadate a warm hat or a billed cap. I've got no complaints, plus i got it for fifty bucks.

I love the ATC, I've never had a jamming problem on raps. although it gets a little strenuous to hold a hangdog.

I can't really tell if this is the book I've used, but if it is, it's the best guidebook i've ever used and well worth the steep price. with glossy pages and color coded routes (blue for sport, red for trad, green for boulder), you cant go wrong. It also includes some amusing local history for tent reading back at Miguels. As the above review states, a must have!
