Although this is a good device for general strength training, it does little for your climbing. You just don't use the type of movement in climbing that this device builds muscle for. Save your money and buy a hangboard.

This is a good harness for a new climber. It has good hip padding for falls and is reasonably priced. It is not, however, comfortable for a full days use. I'd opt for a harness with more padding if you plan on spending a full day at the crag.

The ATC works great for belaying. It operates very smooth. However, it gets pretty hot on long rapels.

Good prodect. It's easy to open and close. I've heard a few complaints from friends with larger hands about the opening not being big enough. Other than that, it works great.
