Everest Boot 5 out of 5 stars

This is top of the line. Solid construction, sound weight, and perfect performance make this boot the best on the market. I have tried other boots in all kinds of conditions. I got frostbite on an alpine trip years ago and as a result my toes ache, but not in this boot!

This is by far the best shoe on the market. It is a bit pricy but the comfort of this shoe outlasts all others in its competition.

Nuptse Jacket 4 out of 5 stars

The Nuptse series jacket is extremely warm and if you look around a bit very reasonably priced. As with all down products, if you get it wet it is worthless and heavy.

Backpack? 2 out of 5 stars

This is not a very durable pack and its setup is not very functional. I think the 'daypack' is a waist of energy and the very tiny camelback pouch is...well, tiny. A three liter camelback just doesn't fit, I'm not sure if the two liter would fit either.
