Sick V12 Finger Stack Exit

After an impromptu full body soaking at the rumbling Bridalveil Fall, we trekked over to check out the El Cap base routes, and ended up freesoloing the Nose and setting an incredible speed ascent record of 45 minutes, car to car, passing a guy that looked really really like Dean Potter a little ways just before the King Swing, who quite frankly looked a little winded hanging on a handjam. This guy turned his head and was about to say something when Elaine and I cranked right past him, us uttering only, "Don't touch!" The guy was thusly left in our dust with only an incredulous gawk on his face. We then made a mad dash across the Valley to topout yet again at this very little known vista point on this wall with this sick finger stack exit move. I hope the guys who came off of Lurking Fear are now convinced of our accomplishment upon seeing indisputable photo evidence such as this. 27 May 2005
