Scary start, dyno up to a pocket over a big sharks tooth boulder. Helps to be taller than me 5'8". Great Joshua tree face climbing after that.

This is the route, Buissonier on the Blob near the Hidden Valley Camp Ground. My husband and his father were enjoying this route. I am considering to send this photo as a part of this year's Father's Day gift.

This was a pretty interesting route. Different type of route that I ever tried so far.

i spent a bit over two weeks in joshua tree, and i have a number of pictures of other people, but this was the only time i handed my camera over and got someone else to take some pictures of me.
so there you go, just a picture of me close to the ground in j-tree.

Nate cleaning my half-ass lead of "Judas" (5.10b) at night by headlamp. This route put me back in my place after a solid ten minutes trying to start the damn thing.

Uhhmmm, so a "classic" 5.7+ish...I dunno, but I definitely wasn't expecting a hand-over-hand traverse out to a heel hook during twenty-couple mile-per-hour winds with my last two pieces 15 plus feet behind me. To be honest, maybe it was the conditions but I was not "down" with this route.

The weird thing about my trip to J-tree was that my palms hurt more than my tips when we left.
