This is Christian (criscokid) belaying Eric (esallen) up in Little Cottonwood. Both of them led it and I toproped it. I thought it was fun, but neither of them liked it very much. It's 5.8 and gets wide near the top.

Chad took me up LCC for my first tast of friction granite last month; of course we had to hit the school room(5.6/7). the easy climbing and good protection made it a great experience. I went back 2 weeks later with my buddy Will and we did the same rout. Will decided to use pitch 4 as his first trad lead. It was sweet.

Here is Will belaying me as I lead the 2nd pitch of School Room in Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT. As you can tell from my sew-it-up technique, I was new to leading trad.

This is me at the 1st belay station on School Room, Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT. Maybe I could do harder climbes if my helmet didn't weigh so much; I'm such a nerd . . . Anyway, no need to fear, a big fat nut and 2 Quad Cams make this station bomber.

This route is located between the starts of Mind Blow and Bushwack Crack. It is essentially a direct start to Mind Blow as it joins it at about 60'.

what a heinous downclimb is was from tingey's to the double rap...made the approach seem like a walk in the park ;)

what i fine line it is...what a fun climb!! i think we did it twice.
