I don't know the name or actual rating of this route because it wasn't in the guide book, but it looked easy so I thought I'd give it a shot. It climbed alright, but was still pretty dirty and crumbly. Fun start.

My book calls this a 5.6, but hey...what's the difference. This is a fun little crack. Great for the beginning leader. Easy gear placement for setting anchors and easy walk-off.

I loved the start on this route, but the rest of it was a cake walk. Still a fun crack to practice placing gear.

I LOVE MAPLE CANYON!!! This route was a great workout...physically and mentally. It's a nice, long pumper, but with good holds and nice sequences and decent rock.

This is me just starting up Black Elk. It's an awesome route on stellar rock. The best thing about the routes at Ruth Lake is the location. At almost 11,000' on rock overlooking a mountain lake, this crag (and route) should be added to your summertime "must do" list.

Santa...I've been very good this year and for Christmas, I'd like my very own outdoor ice climbing park please. Thank you! Luv, Jelli

I love this route!!! Sweet sequences and nice flow with awesome pockets on great rock!
