Climbing up the big fin on Jolt is exillarating. Great climb!

I know you can't see my face, but I thought this was a cool photo with the chalk on the hands and the muscles bulging. All right, maybe not bulging, but protruding a little.

Here I am high above the trees, doing a bold barefoot solo of a beautiful line..... HEy Jim, get out of the photo. Ah man, you ruined it! I was gonna tell all my friends, they would of been like, whoa, man!

I looked up just in time to see my photographer for the day. My friend Jim came with my wife and I to Acadia and he agreed to get a lot of phots of us. Some are magazine shots, but I don't think they put 5.6's on covers.

Here I am starting up Overhanging corner (5.6). It was a fun climb with an awkward move for a 5.6. This climb marked the first time I have placed a large hex on lead. I don't really like them, but won't badmouth them again since that is the only thing pro that would fit at the top.

Here I am, high above the ground. Just a few more feet of hand crack to go. I wish i hadn't forgot my shoes. This might be perhaps the most astonishing feat to happen to rock climbing since the invention of sticky rubber.

I am looking pretty serious in this pic. Chalking up looking at what pro is going to fit. This was a fun climb. This was supposed to be a warmup, but was the only lead I got in that day. I was happy, though toproping some harder stuff. I LOVE Otter Cliffs, man!

I took my daughter to Qunicy Quarries for some tr, but I got to boulder a little bit between belays.

Wonderwoman and I got tattoos over the weekend. We have always wanted them and we are both taking time off from climbing, so it was a perfect time to get them. Check wonderwoman's profile for hers. It kicks ass!

This was Dakotah's first trip to Acadia. Even though we scramble dp to this climb, it felt as if it was a multipitch, because we were high above the road. We also had to anchor Dakotah in when she wasn't climbing. She had a great time.

Dakotah was very focused, which if you new her, that alone was mighty impressive. She got second place in her division. Of course there were only 2 girls in her division, but I was mighty proud.

First time to lincoln woods, without a guidebook. It had snowed the previous night and it was hard finding dry boulders, but with the snow and the sun going down it made for some great pictures.

Not being much of a boulderer, I hadn't made the trip to Lincoln until now. It had just snowed and was gorgeous there.

This was our PHAT halloween party. We had a great time and danced all night. I have to say it was extremely hard to dance in that 'fro'.

Was in NH with a group of students and was taking a lot of scenery pics. This was one of my favorites.

Tiff and I were practicing our wedding climb. This is on the very large lunch ledge at the end of pitch 5.

We spent a lot of time bouldering at the princess cave. It had a mystique that was all its own.

I don't remember what route this was but I like the photo. This was early in my lead climbing days. If I recall that day, I onsighted everything. All the way up to 5.9+. Respectable for a newbie.

I loved this route. I hope next time I have enough balls to lead it. The weather was acting very strange while I was up there. We were actually above some rain clouds that were dousing the valley below us.

The sky was like a painting every night. Like the mighty hand of God swooped down with his paint by numbers kit. Scary, huh?

Packing up after a full day of climbing at the 1-2-3 wall. This was one of our favorite areas, especially this one climb where you had to campus up a stalagtite to get to the first clip.

Wonderwoman and I went to Railay for our honeymoon and spent 10 glorious days climbing the seaside cliffs. This was on a rare bouldering day. If you have not been to Thailand, you have got to go. It was fantastic! Here is Blueeyedclimber stickin' it at the Princess Cave. By the looks of the offerings left inside the cave, the Princess had a lot of men stickin' it to her! - Wonderwoman (aka Mrs. Blueeyedclimber... or is Blueeyedclimber now Mr. Wonderwoman?)

Do we have the next superstar climber or the next Prana model. It's hard to tell at that age, but you got to admit she looks damn good. Pretty soon I will have to be beating the climbing boys away with a stick (a very big stick).
