This is my daughter topping out! This is my daughter fooling around on a boulder. Looks like she is ready to mantle. Actually my fiance is underneath her holding her up. I though it would make a cool picture, though. It won't be long, however, until she is outclimbing me. Can someone say "ropegun?" By the way, how do like her hat?

Sunrise at Otter CliffsThe defining image in the relationship of wonderwoman and I. This was one of the most amazing moments of my life. My girlfriend at the time (now my fiance), Tiffany, and I got up early one day in Acadia and raced down to Otter Cliffs. We were the only people there on a cold, windy Maine morning. The anticipation of the sun rising was amazing as we held each other, (both for warmth and for comfort). This picture now hangs in our kitchen to remind us how special every day can be.

Tiff and I climbing waterfallThis was our first time trying ice climbing. We loved it. It was only on TR but was great. Now we just have to figure out if we can afford to invest in all the gear. This, I believe, was at a place called Plotters Kill, near Scenectady, NY.

Me on Lies and Propaganda (5.9)This was a very cool route and was my second 5.9 at Rumney, NH. It is located in the Meadows. It is probably one of the better 5.9's at Rumney and I highly recommend it. The Meadows is a great area because there is a variety of climbs from 5.7-5.12. There are a few fun 5.10's there as well including Bonehead Roof (10c) and Rhinobucket (10a).

Caught in the act of Falling!I didn't expect to fall on this, but then again, usually I do a few more easy routes before I jump on something hard. This was my second route of the day.

Danglin'Only in the Gunks can you get a move like this on a 5.9. All right, maybe 5.10a. Yes, this photo has been done before, but ooohh, it's so sweet!

Final AttemptI am not really a boulderer, but I gave this V6 a solid go. I came within a move, however and didn't get it. Next time! Did get this photo before I got spit off.

Nice rackThis is our rack, as of March 2009. This does not include all our gear, including countless ropes, slings, harnesses, shoes, backpacks, etc. Some of it is shiny and new, some of them have seen quite a few falls, and some of them have been bootied. Oh, sweet booty!

Green Mountain BreakdownPitch 1 of Green Mountain breakdown. We did this pitch twice this weekend with TIff leading it once and me leading it the second time. You climb this pitch to get to Green Mountain Breakdown and Wet Lithuanian, both of which we did.

The Head AreteThis was an awesome route, but presents a belaying nightmare. For the belayer at the bottom, picture yourself catching a leader fall and being pulled towards the tide that's coming in. For the the leader belaying the second...with the combination of the crashing waves and wind and the start of the climb being overhung, you will NOT hear anything your climber is saying. It is also the hardest part of the climb, so you have to keep a real tight belay and hope you don't pull them off.

Wonderwoman tends to Blue's BoobooThe one positive of hitting yourself in the face with an ice axe is that you get fawned all over by cute climber women ;)
