Mousie Adame (V7)A boulderer sets up for the first crux of Mousie Adame (V7) at Heuco Tanks. I almost biffed it bad getting this photo set. I was soloing up the wall, when a hole broke. Thankfully I landed on the one dude who padded my landing! Nikon D70, 10.5mm fisheye

Moby's DickA climber enjoying the beautiful November sun on Moby's Dick (V3) at Tilted Tree. I've always talked crap on this problem, but then I started doing it and realized how cool it is! Maybe I'm just becoming more of a bouldered and less of a sport climber. Lens is Nikon 50mm F1.4 (shooting at F2), Filter is 81a, camera is Nikon D70. Photo by Bill Bauer

Water BoulderingEverytime we come out to Whipperwill to water boulder, we try this arete. Its 11d in the guide, but with wet shoes, heel-hooking/toe hooking the crux is pretty hard, its a great route, and its high enough, that when you blow it in the precarious "crux" position, you come flying off crazily!

Deep Water Soloing Sequence 1 of 3The crappies rigging of my life....not the rigging itself, but rigging it, well actually getting to where I needed to be to rig it. There was no way around it, 15 feet of thick, nasty green briar, and it really hurt, considering I was wearing swim shorts and no shirt! DOH! Tim Keenan "Water Boulder" at Whipperwill, Summersville Lake, WV.

Black and Tan (5.10a)A great day for climbing, but a terrible day for photos. Direct sun, coming through trees. This is the only spot on the whole route that I could get a shot, But I think that it looks really cool with the trees, it really highlights the climber. Mac on Black and Tan (5.10a), New River Gorge, West Virginia. You see that booty nut? After hammering on it for a few minutes, it now resides on my booty rack :).

Crazy Fingers (5.10c)Lesley Styling on Crazy Fingers at Red River Gorge, Kentucky. I have been looking at a lot of Mshore's photos and have been inspired to start trying to immitate, what I am sure he is doing with (real)filters,(I am doing) in photoshop. The apperature "focus" is real, of course, but I underexposed one stop and then worked with the contrast in photoshop to brodden the contrast range, since digital has a much narrower contrast between white and black than film and slide (so i hear). I'm just an amateur inspired by a really good photographer.
