Description:

Beautiful crack between the Great Chimney and Lost Face. Climb through the somewhat pumpy lower section and top out onto a huge ledge about halfway up the climb. Hang out and rest, then continue up to a top out that will probably be in front of an army of hikers. Also fun to do in two pitches because of the comfortable ledge halfway up. Good gear, fun moves, and great exposure makes this a highly recommended route.

My first 5.8 at the lake, it was a great climb. The gear was good and of a variety of sizes. The top of the lower half to get onto the ledge seemed like the physical crux, there was a scary (for me) move on the upper half that was a mental crux.
