Kananaskis Park, Alberta Latitude 51; 02; 40 Longitude 115; 22; 45, Topo map 82O/03 Can be seen from Highway 1 Unofficial Name: The prominent ridge visible from the Bow Valley resembles the prow of a ship. Ships Prow is considered a subsidiary buttress of Mount Lawrence Grassi. The original Prow route is rated, III 5.7 A3 (keep in mind these are old school ratings) One of the FA's "Chic Scott", claimed that the worst part, was the endless bush-whacking to the base of the actual climb. ref.
