Description:

Definitely the best route on the lower part of Higher Wire, or "Left Wire" in Mabe's guidebook. Much better (and steeper!) than it looks from the ground. Counting from the right, this is the 2nd route on the wall. The name and FA are unknown. Begin in a large v-shaped dihedral just right of the prominent arete. Climb the dihedral and arete into a small corner, then engage the overhanging face above. A hand traverse past the 6th bolt (be careful - a fall here will cause you to swing into the wall of the corner) leads to pumpy moves on good edges and sidepulls. Gain the top edge, and hand traverse right to the anchors.

4 out of 5 stars Really nice, and...

... beta intensive! One hung on my first try when I missed a key hold near the anchor.
