It went quick this year...3rd try.

First 12a back in 97 still climb it all the time and once in my sandals for a pitcher of beer

After projecting this route all of last season and making no progress, it was very satisfying to come back this year and send it during my first session at the main wall. I really like this route and it has proven to be quite a challenge for me. I logged a lot of air miles falling at the fifth bolt over and over again... luckily I have had patient belayers.

After a side injury and some draw thieves put a couple routes I wanted to work on the sideline, I set a goal to climb a six-pack of 'hard' routes in one session. Today went well. I redpointed 'Belly Rubber' (12b), 'Naked Man' (12a), '21-run' (13a), 'Dump Truck' (12c), 'Being Inferior' (12a), and 'Opiate' (12a) in that order. No falls, no hangs. :) Then I still had to clean some draws off Belly Rubber...I was tired. So I got 7 pitches of 12+ climbing.
The best part though was hanging out with friends in the sunshine. :)
